His fleece length is amazing along with all of his other stellar fleece characteristics — extreme fineness and uniformity, just to name a few. We believe he'll be a rockstar in our herd! Magnetar’s color coat test came back from Neogen and his base coat phenotype is black. His color genotype is Ee aa. Ask for additional information. Magnetar's 17 time Champion sire, KCF Isidoro, received his 6th Spirit of the Industry award at the 2019 PAOBA Fleece Showcase. The Work's were so proud to have him receive this award from Wini Lebrecque with such raving comments about his fineness and structure at the age of nearly 7! And of course what they really appreciate as breeders is Isidoro's ability to past his traits to his offspring, and frequently in living color!! Enter Magnetar! On the other side of Magnetar's ARI is an absolutely stellar dam, Stillmeadow Farms Majesty. This girl is a line bred Matrix Majesty rockstar that was just perfect for an out-cross to Isidoro's fleece style. Here at MMFA, we are certainly enamored of the Matrix Majesty line. We actually have three young males that have so impressed us...and with the purchase of Magnetar, we may still keep them all! Magnetar's show record reflects the fact that he was competing with CCNF Dominion over the vast majority of his show career, a true dominator in that color class. We had the opportunity to compare them side by side and we were super impressed with how very similar they were in fleece attributes.

This guy is programmed for pre-potency! Color coat testing = Ee AA. We know that his sire, CCNF Leviathan, has stamped out tons of champions. His dam, Stillmeadow Farm Bella’s Dream, has produced only champions thus far! So...this guy out of CCNF Leviathan and Stillmeadow Farm Bella's Dream is something pretty special! Rigel's fleece is amazingly bright with gorgeous crimp and uniformity across his blanket. He came into his own, as we thought he would — garnering championship’s at his 5 last shows! He took 1st and Reserve Champion at 2020 VAOBA Expo under Judge Wade Gease in a “...highly impressive and competitive class.” Incidentally, the Champion was his older paternal brother! Rigel then took 1st and RC at 2021 PAOBA Breeders Showcase under Judge Helen Testa, beating out a fine young MR Sizlin Rose son and full-brother to Val D Lsere (yep—Val Thorens)! He also pulled down the 2021 PAOBA Walking Fleece Color Championship! At 2021 MAPACA, Rigel garnered two Color Championships! Rigel has a very nice head and boxy frame. His fleece is very uniform and carries all the way through his blanket and down into his extremities. Packed with these genetics and phenotype, we expect him to produce stellar offspring -- and thus far, he has! He also has an amazingly calm personality and is a farm favorite! Rigel's sire, Leviathan, the son of CCNF Elixir and CCNF Capuchin, one of CCNF's top Snowmass Matrix Majesty daughters, got the attention of the entire staff at CCNF from almost the moment he was born, and is unarguably one of the top crias from their 2015 birth class. He sold to Stillmeadow Farm for an astounding $53K as a juvenile, at the 2016 Parade of Champions Auction. Leviathan went on to amass 10 Championships and a Judge's Choice Banner!
